__BACKGROUND
"Hansel and Gretel" is a well-known German fairy tale recorded by the Brothers Grimm and published in 1812. Hansel and Gretel are a young brother and sister kidnapped by a cannibalistic witch living in a house made of gingerbread, cake, confection, candy, and many other treats and pastries.The two children escape with their lives by outwitting her.
__THE ASSIGNMENT
The scene we had to illustrate was the one when the parents of Hansel & Gretel take them through the forest and Hansel sprinkles crumbs of a small piece of bread to help them remember the way home.
__COLOUR
The colour palette was thought to be eye-catching and friendly, since it is an app for kids. It goes from blue to green and has details in yellow and red, which gives points of brightness to the image and completes the serie of basic colours.
