Spring scarf release 2020 pt.2
2020 has been an unpredictable year so far. I had initially sent a few products, scarves and also clothes, to a very good friend and talented photographer @Kitsunekun in Tokyo to photograph my new mini spring collection amongst the Japanese sakura. But then lockdown happened and a lot of my plans had to be reevaluated. I was not going to let this bring me down however so I decided to still release the scarves somehow. Unfortunately the clothes (only the Hanami print shirt pictured here) release I decided to cancel as it was meant to be a pre-order only item, too difficult to sort out during a global pandemic. However I had the scarves in stock and thought we could still do this!
We both agreed to attempt to photograph each silk scarf at home somehow and I would end up releasing them a month later than planned.
Below you see the results. I gotta admit, I am so happy with the outcome. Couldn't have hoped for better. Not to mention the Sakura Slim scarf sold out in less than 24 hours!
