[EN]Ā The natural disasters are multiplying, and the COVID-19 pandemic is pushing us to reinvent our way of seeing and understanding the things that surround us. Some say that nature is reasserting itself and shared opinions or not, one thing is certain; life as we knew it will no longer be the same. When the future is uncertain, it brings imaginations to life, free from limits of which oblige them normally. And if the future were to lie elsewhere? This fictional project pushes the real limits and allows new blank and colourful spaces to be imagined that will perhaps make up the territories of a new civilisation.Ā The book tackles the link between fiction and reality, using the history of science fiction as well some interviews with science fiction authors. With each turn of the page, itās about understanding the importance of these fictional narratives and their cathartic functions. Whilst plunging into eight alternative realities, this book highlights the plurality of the imaginations where the social consensus isnāt always possible.
