This repeat pattern is based off of the quote "We cannot allow our children to grow up in this corrupt and tyrannical regime". This was said by Patria Mirabal, one of three sisters who formed a political activist group during the Dominican Republic's dictatorship under Rafael Trujillo (1930s-1961). The sisters organized under the codename "las mariposas", meaning "the butterflies".
