Guitar Center Rebrand
This project was about taking a big brand that isn't as successful as they once were and repositioning them. I wanted to rebrand Guitar Center because I myself am a bass player. In the music community customizing your instruments gives a musician a more personal connection with their instrument. This new Guitar Center will be a place for musicians to come talk to industry experts and get their instruments customized. Now featuring a cafe and a stage for open mics, musicians can also network here and meet fellow musicians.
New Logo
When I redesigned this logo I didn't want to use cliche music icons such as instruments or music notes; I wanted to evoke the feeling of music. Through many sketches I found a logo that looked as if it was being moved by the music. The glitch effect is made to resemble sound waves moving through the logo.

This app is designed as multi-purpose platform. It serves as a community board, social network, and online shopping platform. Users can create a profile to meet other musicians and share advice on customizing instruments; users can also find local musicians to form a band.
