Pakistan Day (Youm e Pakistan)

23rd March - Pakistan Day
The task was to create animation on Pakistan Independence day (Yaum-e-Pakistan) for a TV channel.

The Muslim League held its annual session in Lahore, During this event, the Muslim League led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other Founding Fathers narrated the events regarding the differences between Hindus and Muslims, and introduced the historical resolution that cemented the formation of a nation-state in South Asia as Pakistan.
On 23rd March 1940, Pakistan commemorate the Lahore Resolution.
The idea and final output came in light of following keywords , (minar e pakistan, hope, progress, valley, purity, elegance, huge,  footprints on land and sky etc)

Tried our best to take all these into account.
Short Description of each shots created.
The First and Second Scene :

Showing the lanterns (depicting hope) floating upward, crossing the heights of clouds and mountains, initiating from as low as from the passing river and as in hope and voices of freedom have gone as far as up in the sky.

Actually this shot is close up of Minar e Pakistan, the national monument of Pakistan , but specifically this camera angle was created to depict multiple elements, The center pillar engraved with names of Allah, is focused to acknowledge the religious (islamic) element involved in independence and side pillars supporting main pillar to acknowledge the support of non Muslim minorities, for a independent Muslim state.
Fifth and Sixth Scene :

The flower of hope that bloomed earlier now growing upwards depicting progress and growth, supported by multiple white flares meaning the hope and passion for independence that kept it growing and in the sixth shot the stairs or the roots of the cause have now reached up towards the sky, ran through the layer of clouds (obstacles).
Final, Seventh Shot :

In Pakistani literature, the brid Shaheen (hawk/falcon) has a special association with the poetry of the country's national poet, Allama Iqbal. Shaheen flying high in the skys freely, depicting freedom under the umbrella of Minar e Pakistan seen from far. The Minar shown from land to sky high is depicting the nail in the land and marking it the Land of Pure.
