The OYO World
Art installation for worlds fastest growing Hotel Group, OYO.
It represents Oyopreneurs around the world.
It had to be vast and represent the middle income people we serve and not be glitzy, somehow topographical, like the earth and have depth.

Concept art for the installation.
Lots of pieces cut out of thick MDF board.
Assembling was a tough task because the guy who cut all these pieces on router, forgot to categorized them as instructed. As a result, it become harder like completing a puzzle but with multiple layers of it at the same time.
We managed to put all these pieces, slowly.
Once all the part were placed, we pasted them on the board and installed the led light with acrylic sheets as windows.
The artwork was so heavy that it took 6 people to install it on the wall. And I was concerned that it'll gonna fall due to its weight.
On far right, people demonstrated HOW it will not fall.
Finally installed and ready for paint.
Applied First base coat of white color after masking the lights and the board with newspaper and masking tape.
And we had a copywriter with ambitious heart, who agreed to help with the painting, Yudhajit.
Sanskriti and Anish painting the world, Bitaxora also showed up.
I masked the lights so the paint doesn't gets in, and then added textures on the base coat.
Feeling bit of Jackson Pollock at this point and wanted to keep it like that,
but I have a boss.
After painting the buildings I added small islands to finish the paint job.
We brought laser cut pieces of OYO's logo and its sub brands, assembled them in-house.
