Waves is intends to be both a platform for discovering images and a database of unique images curated for creating beautiful graphics, textures and photographs. The process to create the images on Waves is a specific machine learning framework called GAN (Generative Adversarial Network). To train an image model with this framework requires supplying a large dataset of images. The dataset is then analyzed for patterns that are compared against one another to find visual trends.
