The purpose of this project was to design a poster that inspired people to vote. The way I wanted to accomplish this was by creating a fake paper made from events that have happened in America over the past few decades. Everything that has happened in the paper I made is all events that could have been avoided if people used their voices. I want to remind people with this poster that even though we see and hear so many terrible things in the media we can change things if we use our voice.
The most difficult part of making this was making the letterforms and making them not seem childish. It took some time to figure out. I made it by creating a fake paper digitally, printing it out and cutting out the letterforms by hand before taking a picture of the paper and editing the shadows and light.
