Shelflife Artist Tee Collaboration
I was commissioned by Shelflife to create a T-shirt design inspired by the letter "S" as part of their Artist Series collection alongside other South African Artists. I was given a choice of 1 - 4 Pantones for the screen printed shirt. The piece is inspired by 90s beach street culture. The curve of a woman, summer palms in the sunset, a bowl to accentuate the curve of the ladies bottom - drop of the "S" and some stairs to represent some movement and elevation. Photo shoot in our neighbouring city Badalona's infamous industrial shipping district. All the Chinese manufactured goods come through this point and filter out into the rest of Barcelona.
