Spiral VS Helix —
Are two terms that are easily confused. A spiral is usually flat (like the groove of a vinyl record).
A propeller, on the other hand, is always three-dimensional: it is a continuous curved line, with a finite slope and not null, that revolves around a cylinder, a cone or a sphere, advancing in three dimensions (like the edge of a screw).
