Out with the old and in with some of the finer things.
The floor plan was to remain the same but the whole space was ready for an update. Out with the tub, the carpet, and formica countertops and in with the river rock shower, heated floors and granite. All exterior walls and ceiling were re-insulated with spray foam at every seam and penetration then cavities received formaldehyde free R-19 batts. Electric floor heat makes its way into every possible location your feet may touch. This bathroom turned out to have many of the necessities that make a master bathroom the sanctuary it should be.
