The residence located in an agro-town in the Papyernyansky village council of the Minsk region, Belarus. The project has been developed for a family with two children.
The main task was to create a comfortable, modern, bright and functional interior for everyday life. Owners of the residence requested to create various places for storing things, as well as a minimum of open shelves and protruding elements. The kitchen equipped with a long countertop, which allows using of multiple kitchen appliances at the same time and nothing will interfere at hand. There is also a dining table and a TV for family gatherings in the kitchen. The living room has a cosy sofa and corner fireplace, which is visible from any point of the room. The separation of the living room and kitchen with a decorative partition linked with the owners' desire to hide the cooking processes a bit, but not to divide the spaces with a blank wall. In the way of consideration of various options, wooden screen space dividers were selected for this case. In the bedroom was designed a wardrobe, which was a very important room for the hostess. Special attention deserves the staircase, which construction made of glass with the LED strips integrated into the stair treads. Thanks to this, the staircase looks lightweight, and the steps seem to hang in the air. Due to transparency, more natural light enters the corridor during the day, and at night the staircase sets a pleasant atmosphere of cosiness and acts as a night light.
