As seen below all lettering in this project is constructed by a previously set amount of shapes and pieces. The experiment becomes more or less like a puzzle if you will. The primary objective is not readability but composition. I prefer to see type as art rather than functional design.
It's also quite interesting to then play with readability because people will hopefully start looking at typography in a different way. If at first they can't read it they either get confused/ angry or they stop looking. But that's the point. You don't look at illustrations or art merely to try and understand or read it. You're primarily supposed to enjoy it and let the piece resonate inside you.
