Angelo Pirrello Fundation
APF - Angelo Pirrello Foundation was born in 2018 thanks to the initiative of Angelo Pirrello founder and President of DPV Spa.
The non-profit foundation aims to support professional orientation for young students throughout the territory as well as promote sustainable initiatives.
APF has started focusing on environmental sustainability programs and through the Land of Future project, it aims to raise awareness for environmental protection of the local territory (Valle del Belice).
Land of Future has delivered several projects to support environmental activities within local schools: from educational workshop to photographic contest, from gaming competition to recycle laboratories. It also organizes different activities that involve all students for World Environment Day on 5th June.

We are plastic free
To celebrate World Environment Day 2019, a very special "treasure hunt" was launched.
On June 4, more than 120 middle school students divided in teams, competed with puzzles and trials on the issue of environmental protection. Through overcoming obstacles and collecting clues, they had the opportunity to create a puzzle that featured an emblematic topic: "We are plastic free".
