Quentin Tarantino Poster Series

The idea here was to create a three poster series about Quentin Tarantino's movies. My concept was to use only type (except for the color bar at the bottom of each) because Tarantino's movies tend to be very dialogue driven.
In this series I also wanted to reference "the mexican standoff" effect that he often employs in his movies, whereby three people are all pointing guns at one another at the same time. I did this by making the first poster of the gun, Pulp Fiction, fire a bullet that cuts through the all type background of the second, Kill Bill, and then impacts on the third, Reservoir Dogs. The gun is made from dialogue from Pulp Fiction, the background pattern is the words kill bill repeated and kerned and smashed together and the bullet hole is the names of all of the characters in Reservoir Dogs.
