I worked on the light installations for Mercara Downs Golf Club through Pinkapple studio. It is one of the oldest golf course in the Indian subcontinent, an 18-hole yard admidst 80 odd acres of swelling, rolling landscape and the beautiful scenery of Coorg.
It is a frame work structure with a lot of pillars. It sort of allows one to take the outside view. One can look at the golfers from the passage while sipping the coffee or having beer. It has glass windows, plain off white walls, french windows for doors. The resort overlooks the lush green landscape that leaves one with a fresh and leisurely feeling. All this helped me a lot to come up with concepts for the installations.

Lasercutting on metal was finalised for the final concept, taking patterns from the Golf ball, Wedge and the Iron Golf stick.
