The idea of the project was to give an object an emotion — a fizzy drink bottle as my object and ‘forceful’ as the emotion.
Irn Bru is known for its strap-line “made from girders”, so I decided to utilise this already familiar association with strength by changing the name from IRN BRU to I AM A BRUISER.
I recreated a wrap-around label and bottle top using the same typeface and layout as the original
but using imagery and text associated with forcefulness. The large bottle also helps to emphasise
its forcefulness.
