The brief aimed to design the identity for the Plymouth College of Art Degree Shows 2019. The identity had to represent all disciplines of the College.
The brief aimed to design the identity for the Plymouth College of Art Degree Shows 2019. The identity had to represent all disciplines of the College.
A deconstruction of the main building to represent the College as a whole. I divided PCA plan building into geometric shapes that I used to create a collage inspired by the Bauhaus and Constructivism. The collage was made with mixed materials such as cardboard, aluminium or leather to illustrate the different disciplines at the College.
The experimentation with shapes influenced my decision to create a 3D model based on the original collage. The result is an architectural artefact where shapes are floating, creating interesting angles and corners.
