Rethinking the Greek Flag.
A national symbol in times of transition.
A national symbol in times of transition.
In February 2013, Chrysostomos Naselos from London based design studio ‘Company’,
was invited to run a workshop with the 3rd year design students from Vakalo Art and Design College,
within the course of Visual Identity and Branding held by lecturer, Dimitris Stefanidis.
Τhe students were asked to rethink the Greek flag to reflect a country in transition.
Unanimously, a third colour was introduced to represent the Greek light and sun.
We are glad we could give the students a printing workshop,
by inviting them to join us in printing a collective poster of their designs.
The final result was a numbered edition of 50 two-colored posters, plus a secret (even to them)
limited edition printed as a gift from our studio for this incredible opportunity.
