WebMechanix
Rebrand & Website Redesign
The Challenge
WebMechanix is a growing digital marketing agency. After being in business for 10 years, we took it upon ourselves to rebrand the company for the next decade and beyond. The previous brand was too dark, masculine, and “broke” when it was put under any kind of stress.
I collected a variety of intake data at the start to ensure the new brand aligns with the company direction. I did this by consulting with various stakeholders to extract out information on how they perceive the company, including the culture, voice, and offerings. It resulted in a brand that’s brighter, flexible, and cohesive. Its industrial characteristics are a slight play on the company name and the amount of work that employees do behind-the-scenes.

Digital Transformation
The first step in the website redesign process was performing a UX Facilitation, which brings together stakeholders to discuss the brand, prototype personas, and user journeys. We were able to uncover how stakeholders viewed the company and the people we interact with.
By having this information, we were able to put all of our new designs against it to ensure consistency. If a design element fell outside of these chosen characteristics, we either eliminated it or massaged it until it fit.
