Movie Key Art & Title Sequence

For this project, we were to create key art and a one-minute title sequence for a movie. I chose the movie The Usual Suspects. The poster was designed with the intention of providing a sense of mystery and hidden aspects that relate to the movie. The fingerprint is seen as a mysterious form, yet a way to identify a person. Infusing the title of the movie with patterns of the fingerprint itself provides the hidden identity that is the film's outcome. The title sequence was designed to play off the blotching portions of the fingerprint, with the ink slowly spreading into a fabric-like material, giving a suspenseful feeling along with the instrumentals of the music.
