Apu is 8 years old. He is a chubby boy with a retro disposition. Apu always wears a baseball cap that squeezes his hair out of shape and he likes to puff out his mouth on right side and then blow, giving out the sound of “pu” as if he could squirt out his troubles. Therefore, his friends call him “Apu”. His pet phrase is, "a piece of cake, a piece of cake, Apu." 

 

Different series of Apu wear different kinds of funny costumes, especially animal hats with goofy expressions on the top, which is in contrast with the well-behaved Apu and give the impression of being goofy and lovely. Hope everyone can be as carefree as he is when they see Apu.
