Sentinel Robot - Cycles4D

I first created this robot in Adobe Dimension using the default primitive objects, taking inspiration from the game No Mans Sky and the Sentinel robot's that patrol the in-game planets.
About a year or so on I got into Cinema4D and decided to recreate my old bot, this time throwing a bit more at it and using the project to practice some Cycles4D and X-Particles techniques.
Where I originally had a still of two bots patrolling in the dark, this time I wanted to go much brighter and show a sort of base environment. This charging platform is where a whole bunch of these little guys can be lined up, soaking up juice and awaiting the next command input.
That brought me on to wanting the scene animated, showing one bot in particular booting up, firing the anti-gravity pads and heading out on mission.
I'm very happy with the result and would love to get some sound design in there one day, for a few seconds of full on sci-fi vibes!

As always, thanks checking out my work, and here's a couple of little extras...
