For my 6th participation and appearance in the GameReport magazine I got to illustrate an articule about a Playstation 1 video game called "R-Type Delta"
Mundos Alienígenas: Encuentros con los Desconocido
This time I had the opportunity I had the challenge of making an illustration in tribute to "R-Type Delta", it was a bit of a struggle because the game doesn't have much high quality artwork to references but besides that I decided to pay homage to the original game's cover, bringing it back to life and in full color.
Briefing
"It's about illustrating for a critique of the R-Type Delta game. As you will see, this is the typical shoot'em up of ships and Martians, from left to right.
The official artworks of the game itself are of very low quality and therefore need an illustration. Basically what I would like is a reinterpretation, of your style, of some of these artworks (or even of captures of the game itself).
If possible make a dark or black background, so all the criticism will go with that background."
