Logo and Corporate Identity for the BMC Sports
Concept:
BMC Sports is a youth sports program that utilizes sport to holistically develop children. Company will offer a variety of sports and activities, including elements of soccer, baseball, football, and basketball. Company is using sport as the medium to get children physically active, develop cognitive skills, and build character.
The logo is a monogram and created in a minimalistic style. It combines sporty and scientific style. I also used bright colours and rounded shapes of letters make it children-friendly.
Each letter corresponds to one of the three parts of slogan:
- Active Bodies - B. I make illustrations with figures of children and adults from this letter.
- Developing Minds - M. To create the letter M, I used the following symbolism: a maze, a book. I also reflected this in the illustrations. And I made a labyrinth in the form of this letter.
- Forging Character - C. To create the letter C, I used the symbolism of an arrow flying at a target.
