We were given a typeface and set the challenge to express why it could be regarded as the greatest typface, based on its unique qualities and heritage. We were restricted to use only that typeface and two colours, so that we really engaged with the type. I was given Futura, and so focused on its reflection of Bauhus ideals, form and function, and simple engineered qualities.
