Inaugurated by Minas Gerais chef Pablo Oazen, Benza (as in "benzadeus" - a popular Brazilian expression meaning blessing and joy) is a restaurant that values local cuisine in an authorial and creative way to provide the dining experience to all.
The studio was asked to create and develop the restaurant's logo and visual identity. The biggest challenge of the project was to find a way to translate the balance between the sophistication (technique) of the dishes and the simplicity (charisma) of the chef's personality.
With a minimalist structure that values the ingredients present in the restaurant dishes, the logo was designed with simplistic shapes but with an elegant touch that inspires creativity and invokes flavor. The visual identity relies on a system that navigates between classic and contemporary through the contrasting mix of colors and typographic styles, providing communication rooted in the heritage of great gastronomy.
