The New Wave: Escape 9-5, Do What You Love and Make an Impact
The client contact me to finalised or redesign his book cover which he aim to published before xmas this year. Once i learned the book all about I'm happy to do it even though in short notice.
So this is his initial cover design:
I make small changes on his initial design; slightly changed the background color with instagram color code, changed the font, re-arrage the layout, reduced some details and re-create the wave and offered another cover design which emphasise on the escaping the office work towards freedom and on the other design i put red cape as a symbol that this person making impact and has purpose out there.I choose the colors that associated with Instagram - the most popular application among millennials and white background to make it contrast with the artwork and text, so it easy to read even though in small thumbnails.
after had discussion with his team and do some testing he decided to keep his initial concept so we continue creating the paperback full cover design and i made the collateral design for social media and made cover for Audible and Kindle.
