The members states of the World Health Organization created the World No Tobacco Day in 1987. It draws global attention to the tobacco epidemic and to the preventable feath & disease it causes.
Everyone must knows that:
- Each cigarette smoked shortens the lifespan by 8 minutes. 
- Every 8 seconds someone dies from tobacco use.
- A cigarette contains more than 4,000 chemical compounds of which at least 60 can cause cancer.
Stopping smoking is an important & difficult decision:
- Today many smokers give up not only because of the health risks to themselves, but also to those around them.
- Others choose to give up in order to save money or to stop smoking from interrupting their daily routines. And some just want to feel better.
 
DIRECT MARKETING S.A. handled the whole concept for the Nicorette Smoke-Free Attitude campaign: from the creative & original approach, the kits design & production, the Jeep catchy branding, till the creative educational approach and management.
On the occasion of the World No Tobacco Day, DIRECT MARKETING S.A. handled for Nicorette a CO Monitor test at City Mall. Smokers were invited to check the CO level in their bodies as part of an awareness campaign to Quit Smoking. Health advisors were available on-site to assist smokers on the risk of having a high CO level in their body.
