Ive Had Enough is a mixed media piece that combines both thread drawing inspired by
Lisa Connolly and also layered marker drawing as shown in the
"Humpty Dumpty-The Gangster!" piece (see profile.)
The piece responds to my other "Three Blind Mice" ideas and tries to communicate and raise visual awareness of the anger and emotion and the torment that the blind must feel because of their visual impairment. For the final piece, I chose to create one mouse to make it the central focus and reflect more on the above idea and to remain consistent with my modern day
sub-theme. The idea of subtlety came to mind and so made the mouse wear a hoodie for which would create more repeat lines and movement.
The combination of both thread and layered marker using accetate is to create the movement and all the emotions stated above and goes further as they cant be contained and ultimately leave the frame!
