The Idea 
December is World AIDS awareness month with World AIDS day recognised on 1 December each year. Because people are usually in a festive mood in December, we wanted to create an interactive awareness campaign that would engage younger people and get them thinking and talking about safe sex over the silly season. What we discovered is everyone has a different phrase for sex. Whether it be the 'funky chicken' or the 'beast with two backs', the different ways we refer to sex can be colourful, humourous and fantastically memorable. So we designed a condom-filled advent calendar featuring illustrated euphamisms for sex on each door. We challenged people to guess what each illustration meant and revealed the euphamism on the inside. The moral is that no matter what you call it, always be safe.
