The aim of this project was centred around student engagement with LSR's live coverage of the 2016 US Presidential Election. They wanted printed promotional material displayed around campus advertising the live event coverage taking place at Leeds University Union which was also live-streaming to the LSR website.
The client wanted to make the poster feel confrontational to match the tone of the Election. I decided the best way to show this was to have both candidates directly opposing each other to parody the dramatic tension often seen in the spectacle of contemporary boxing matches or movie posters.
