The Slide Thermostat is a project developed with the philosophy of minimalism in mind. My goal was to strip away any unnecessary elements to distill the device down to its purest form. Sliders are something we encounter everyday on mobile phones, speakers, TV’s. My goal for the project was to take the common interaction of a slider and use it to make home appliances more approachable.
