‒ hammer bank
The Hammer Bank is an experiment utilizing the idea of connecting familiar product interactions with new experiences. When you see a hammer, it is instantly understood how it is to be held and used. The material along with the X shaped slot indicates this object is meant to be saved for just the right time.

Iteration
An extensive amount of sketching and prototyping was required to develop the hammers final form.

Through my childhood, I never filled up my piggy bank one-hundred percent. With this object, it can only be used once, giving the user more of an incentive to save.
