Series
The photo series "Fritz Schumacher" will be published on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Hamburg architect and former senior building director Fritz Schumacher. This architectural series leads through Schumacher's various state buildings in Hamburg. From 1909 onwards, Fritz Schumacher spent 24 years developing around 90 buildings in and around the Hanseatic city of Hamburg. His buildings are the combination of tradition and modernity as well as the fusion of function and art. He has shaped Hamburg with numerous brick buildings with monumental and artistically decorated interiors. The series provides a glimpse behind the brick facades and pays tribute to Schumacher's work for the city of Hamburg.
