Canal house
Canal house is a three-story co-working office space based in Loughborough. It is built around a canal bank, hence the name choice. The industrial building remained empty and abandoned for the last ten years. My job was to brand this building into a co-working office. The interior of the offices are urban and industrial whilst giving a cool fun to be a quirky place to work. The logo is clean and simple whilst keeping to the building's history and heritage of the iconic arched windows. The secondary logo of the window mark inside the circle with the words "work together" communicates a sense of community and family.
I came up with a icon system for the different rooms in the building. I designed the icons in a blocky heavy geometric way so it feels cohesive to the industrial feel of the building.
The colours are calm and neutral with urban raw feel whilst keeping it modern and playful. I designed a poster campaign for them for the launch of canal house. The brief was to design a campaign to promote the new co-working office space positions. The posters play on the use of space and collaboration via Swiss inspired typography.
