TrustED is an educational/technology blog under the K12 Insight umbrella. This year two new series were released highlighting educational thought leaders. The branding needed to follow the current TrustEd and K12 Insight brand guidelines, but it also needed to be different enough to stand alone as its own voice.

I was tasked with creating the brand ID for TrustED 20. I was involved in the creative direction along with the production of the artwork. I wanted the logo to be simple, to be an extension of the TrustED identity. The symbol is a pencil; pencils are always associated with schools and classroom materials. The color scheme is bright and energetic, again trying to emulate the spirit of classrooms and school environments.
