1310G is a recently available retail ground level space to be leased out. I was responsible for conceptualizing and designing the overall aesthetics along with window signage to market the space. The neighborhood is mix of young and middle aged people so I thought it would be a fun approach to use lyrics from a song as the overall theme. The song is a 90s hip-hop song, "Rebirth of Slick" by Digable Planets. I wanted to captures the audience's attention with the bright colors, funky patterns, and song lyrics, throwback to 90s memorabilia, but also pique their curiosity so they further explore and engage with the signage. I included a QR code that links directly to the space website and brochure.
