A selection of editorial illustrations inspired by articles about science and the environment.
Every year, artists and illustrators around the word produce a daily illustration in October as part of a project called Vectober or Inktober. I loved doing this in 2018 (which you can find
here and
here), so I thought I’d jump back in again this year.
For (almost) every day in October I challenged myself to produce an editorial illustration based on an article relating to science or the environment. These illustrations are inspired by articles published by organisations such as NPR, The Atlantic and Cosmos, and feature stories about everything from bee hive design to playful rats.
These illustrations are part of a personal project and were not commissioned.
