An infographic about an ambitious mission to uncover an asteroid's secrets.
Throughout the depths of space are asteroids with stories to tell. They can give us glimpses into the origins of our solar system, reveal the ways in which planets are formed, and may have even played a role in transporting the building blocks of life to Earth. The history of space exploration is filled with audacious missions to better understand these rocky relics of the early solar system. Soon, a new spacecraft called Psyche will give scientists the opportunity to discover fresh insights, as it prepares to embark on a journey to a large mysterious asteroid, also called Psyche.
