Identity Design Project
In my mood board I focused on a more retro yet graphic style for logos with a more playful typography choice.
When creating my mind map I dug into what makes me, me. I looked at my interests and attributes that define myself. I took that inspiration and used that to influence my logo sketch designs.
For my logo I studied typefaces that were playful yet bold, signifying the style of work that I create. For the word illustration I looked at a more scripted illustrative typeface. As for the colors, I tend to use a lot of blue, orange, yellow, and black in my artwork so I wanted my logo to feel cohesive with the rest of my portfolio. I ended up going with the round illustrative logo for my final design choice, as I feel like it's the most cohesive with my artwork .
Elevator Pitch
Cole Clark is an artist studying illustration and animation at The Columbus College of Art and Design. Focusing on emotionally raw illustrations and unique character designs. Based in Ohio, Cole hopes to collaborate with local artists and businesses as well as stepping foot in the animation industry.

For my business cards I looked at playful illustrations as well as text that feels cohesive to my design.
For my photo spread I added elements that define who I am as a person, all while keeping the blue and yellow color scheme.
