Font Design: The 'Pavilion' font

Time for another Yoobee assignment! Our mission, whether we chose to accept it or not, was to develop a logo (with associated font) for a particular area in the fair city of Auckland; based on our extensive survey and photo / drawing / collecting stuff spree around a designated route. My final selection was a nifty up-market shopping area called 'The Pavilions', next to the Britomart train station–in particular, the use of wooden slat frameworks and lashings of vine-y vegetation on the outside of the (usually cube-shaped) buildings there. So, without much further ado, I set out to develop a 3D-looking, hammered-together-out-of-bits-of-wood-and-draped-with-vines typeface that summed up the look and feel of The Pavilions perfectly..... and here it is!
1) The complete package–'The Pavilions' logo, uppercase font A-Z,
and a 'parts kit' for all the letters
2) Pavilions logo in a simulated real-world environment (a sign in the actual Pavilions shopping area),
with photos of the wooden slat frameworks the font is based upon
3) The complete Pavilion font from A-Z, in detail
