The name 'Quiet Carat' stems from the store not selling flashy, cheap items. Quiet refers to the fact that the store is not a chain; it has only one location (in downtown San Luis Obispo). Instead, it sells classier, more expensive, but still affordable jewelry. All colors in the logotype are taken from jewelry that is sold at the store.
