KNCD is a place for people of culture and those interested in broadly understood culture. It is a very elaborate project, combining all the fields of creativity – from literature, theatre, through cinema and music, to visual art. We needed to create a logo that conveyed very broad ideas, elegant and fit for the press agency, modern and simple.
From the very beginning, the client has had a very specific visual style in mind. The editors wanted something new and fresh, they liked our another low poly logo and wanted something made in a similar way. The problem was, that the logo still should represent a human culture in a simple and straightforward way.
We have sought our inspirations in classical architecture, art and mythology then tried to give our design a modern look fit for a contemporary media agency.
Eventually, we managed to combine everything into perfect form. A classic, strong, traditional serif font and an antique colonnade, closed in modern and wildly popular geometric forms.
