Marlena is a photographer with a unique talent. She finds beauty in unusual places. She takes photos of everyday objects and urban landscapes and shows them in a new, different light. Her works show there is a tiny border between aesthetics and ugliness.

In this transitional places, she usually finds her art subjects. We have had to make a logo that perfectly reflects that liminal character and clearly shows division of two worlds that merge together through her work.

We needed something simple, elegant and feminine without typical photography cliches like a camera or lens icon. We finally decided to make a logotype with round and subtle fonts but with strong and expressive cut.
