Can’t We All Just Get Along? tee illustration
This illustration was created for a personal side project for iLuvUrMug, a lifestyle brand promoting positive social values, tolerance and diversity. The illustrations and graphics are meant to be applied mostly to apparel but can also be used in other lifestyle collateral such as mugs, calendars, posters, device cases and protectors and other POD (print on demand) items.
The project, Can’t We All Just Get Along? was created to promote harmony in an otherwise acrimonious political climate by using humor and soft imagery. The rough sketch was done in Adobe Photoshop Sketch on an iPad Pro and traced with vectors in Adobe Illustrator Draw, also on an iPad, to create smooth lines and to be easily resized for multiple POD items with no loss in line quality.
The headline is set in Mighty Mountain, a font from an independent designer and illustrator.
Both components, plus the artist’s signature and the branding logo were composited together in Adobe Photoshop CC using smart symbols to preserve quality when resizing and repositioning the elements together.
