Lakeshore Church website redesign
I was involved in redesigning the church’s website about a decade ago and it served their purposes well at the time. As more people accessed web content on their mobile devices and leadership at the church changed, the mandate was to bring the branding image and online presence forward into the modern age.
The first site was built on the Textpattern CMS and wasn’t responsive. Most recently I recommended the site be built on WordPress using the Divi theme with built-in page builder which drastically sped up the development and design process and made the site mobile-friendly and much easier to make revisions for all administrators whether they know HTML and CSS or not.
The UI is intended to be clean and bright. This is made easier by the face there isn’t a great deal of content which allows for an uncluttered interface. This redesign is a vast improvement over the previous site.
