Inspiriert vom Leben des US-amerikanischen Autors Hunter S. Thompson (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) entstand eine ausdrucksvolle Display- Schriftart. Durch eine künstlerische Installation in der Entwicklungsphase des Projekts wird die Geschichte seiner Epoche und seines Lebenswerkes typografisch erzählt.
The display-font developed in this project was inspired by the life of the American author Hunter S. Thompson (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas). An experimental type installation in the beginning phase of the project represents his time period and his work.
Der entstandene Slab-Serif Font ist vom Kalten Krieg, der Friedensbewegung und dem Rolling Stone Magazine inspiriert. Alternativ entstand ein von Hand gesprühter „Graffiti“ Schriftschnitt. Eingesetzt wurde die Schriftart in einem im Siebdruck-Verfahren erstellten Poster und einer Animation.
The final slab-serif font is inspired by the Cold War, the Peace Movement and the Rolling Stone Magazine. In addition to the digital font, a spray-painted graffiti-style version is also available. The font is displayed in an advertising poster and an animation.
