Personal Project
After the first two months of living in Leeds, UK, I realised I was becoming used to the city, and thus losing interest in looking closely at my surroundings. Since I didn't want the excitement of discovering a new place to wear off, I set myself the task of going around the places I normally walked by, and photographing them - literally - under a different light. This gave birth to 'Rediscovering Leeds', a series of long-exposure night shots that make common places in the city centre stand out and look unreal.

Después de haber vivido en Leeds, Reino Unido, durante 2 meses, me di cuenta que me estaba acostumbrando a la ciudad y por ende perdía interés en mi entorno. Como no quería que la emoción de descubrir un lugar nuevo se desvaneciera, me di a la tarea de recorrer los lugares que normalmente caminaba y fotografiarlos - literalmente - bajo una luz diferente. Esto dio inicio a 'Rediscovering Leeds', una serie de tomas nocturnas de larga exposición, que hacen que lugares comunes del centro de la ciudad sobresalgan y se vean irreales.
